Opened in July 2018 as the first Holiday Inn Express in the Philippines, it is the largest of the brand in Southeast Asia and the cheapest way to sleep within walking distance of an international gate in Manila.

Rooms are 21 sq m Standard rooms with either a queen bed (some with a sofa bed) or two single beds, plus Superior versions and 10 accessible rooms. The Great Room has an indoor area and an alfresco terrace among greenery and serves Filipino and international dishes for lunch and dinner; a convenience store in the lobby covers snacks and drinks around the clock, and the restaurants of Newport Mall are a few minutes away.

Housekeeping is limited to every few days unless requested. Check-in is at 2:00 pm, check-out at 12:00 pm, minimum check-in age 18. The hotel is smoke-free, has no pool and does not accept pets.

The hotel is at the Jasmine Drive end of Newport City, 500 m from Terminal 3 in a straight line and about 10 minutes on foot through the complex and Runway Manila, the 220-metre air-conditioned footbridge to the Terminal 3 arrivals level, open 24 hours (Runway Manila guide). The hotel runs a free shuttle van between the hotel and the Newport end of the bridge; ask the desk for the schedule. It does not serve Terminals 1 and 2, a 15 to 25 minute drive away (inter-terminal shuttle guide).
Newport Mall is 2 km by road, Mall of Asia 6 km and Intramuros 12 km. Parking is free for guests, which makes this the cheapest park, sleep and fly base at the airport.
